The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) holds dinners throughout the country every year to raise funds, generate awareness and build community. Now in its ninth
year, the Pacific Northwest dinner has proven success and popularity by raising over $1 million dollars for HRC and is well-attended by over a thousand
supporters, allies, community leaders and high-profile guests such as:
- President Bill Clinton
- U.S. Senator Patty Murray
- U.S. Senator Maria Cantwell
- U.S. Representative Jim McDermott
- Governor Howard Dean
- Film Director John Waters
- Comedienne Lily Tomlin
- Actress and Comedienne Sandra Bernhard
- Actress Jane Lynch
- Actor T.R. Knight
- Celebrity Ross “The Intern” Mathews
The gala dinner is a time to celebrate the GLBT community’s accomplishments, to recognize our current struggles and upcoming challenges, to draw
inspiration from our leaders. It is an elegant evening to come together for a common cause – equality for everyone.
